Orbach Lab Awarded BSF Grant to Study Intraflagellar Transport

The Orbach Lab has been awarded a BSF grant together with Aya Narunsky from Worcester Polytechnic Institute to study the molecular mechanisms of the ciliary intraflagellar transport (IFT) system.

This collaborative project will investigate how cargo is selected and transported within cilia, with the goal of better understanding the molecular principles that organize ciliary transport.
