Meet Rachel Mary Clementina

Meet Rachel Mary Clementina ,a curious and enthusiastic biochemist who just joined the Orbach Lab! Rachel brings a solid background in biochemistry, with hands-on experience in molecular docking, antioxidant research, and microbiology. After earning her MSc from St. Joseph’s College and spending time teaching and working in scientific publishing, she’s now shifting gears into exciting new territory.

At the Orbach Lab, Rachel will dive into the fascinating world of the ciliary cytoskeleton in Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. She’s eager to explore how these tiny structures work, and she’s bringing her energy, sharp thinking, and love for science along for the ride.
